         Once I knew the Scooby Gang Minimates were on their way, I knew I needed a river boat to display with them and The Pussycats. I'm using 1:64 scale vehicles to accompany the mates since Speed Buggy is a Johnny Lightning vehicle. The gang can't sit inside of him but he looks great alongside them so I'm using the same scale for all of the vehicles. I figured the Dixie Queen should be slightly larger but just something more as a backdrop than a playset. Then I stumbled on the vintage Remco Showboat playset on eBay. It was too perfect to pass up. The true scale wasn't listed on any of the auctions I followed. Once I find one that had playwear and was more toy than collectible, I jumped on it. I eventually plan to paint it grey to match the cartoon but for now the idea that I can display them all over like I their episode of The New Scooby Doo Movies I'm happy.
