These scenes from the original version the film Clash of the Titans had a strong influence on my toy collection; the way they are displayed and the desire to have ever character from any comic book, film or television show all stem from this scene. Zeus seemingly had a figurine of ever character at his fingertips and a playset to go with them. I was always so taken by this visual as a child. The toyline produced to represent the film was disappointing in its character representation. This was long before toy companies understood that acton figures of female characters were just as important to recreating the story as the males were. Medusa and Andromeda were so needed but didn't stand a chance back then. I'm glad that this has changed.
