A Custom A Day.... 365 days of custom figures Day 361 - Batman '66 Eartha Kitt as Catwoman by 4:F12/28/2015 Eartha was harder than she needed to be. Her head is a casting from a Marvel Legends X-23. Her ears are taken from Julie's head. The braid and hair were sculpted as two separate pieces. I struggled to paint her face, eyes and eyebrows. She still needs a mask. He cheeks are too full to accurately represent Eartha as her cheeks were sunken in under those high cheekbones but the Mattel Batman '66 aren't exactly perfect likeness of the actors they represent so she works.

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
