A Custom A Day.... 365 days of custom figures Day 232 - Toy Biz 5 inch Crimson Dawn Psylocke by 4:F8/20/2015 This version of Psylocke was never released to look like the prototype shown on the packaging for the Light Up series. She was the same figure, but was released with an angry expression and flowing hair. This, the second release used the hairstyle and body from the prototype figure, but gave her another angry look in addition to her Crimson Dawn mark. She was painted to have lavender hair instead of purple and a black costume. Toy Biz made an X-Force Psylocke before she even existed. I repainted her to fit in with the Jim Lee team.

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
