This Psylocke was an opportunity buy from eBay. Hasbro did a line of figures from the Wolverine & The X-Men cartoon in 4 inch scale but, although it was popular the show was cancelled after one season. The toy line was, as usual male figures only. Emma Frost & Storm were key players in the cartoon but, because female figures do not sell well to parents, we never saw a female in the short lived line. This Psylocke, in Marvel Legends scale was listed on eBay with no bids when I stumbled on in via the FigureRealm. I'll assume that people passed on her since she was done in 6 inch scale leaving her without the rest of the X-Men from the cartoon to join her on the shelf. I guess. There's no other logical reason since the quality of this figure is superb. Anyhow, I snatched her up immediately. Psylocke is my favorite X-Man and Marvel character so I welcome having her in any unique costume in any scale. I purchased this figure before I started collecting Marvel Legends and was content to have her as a one off in my collection. She appears to use a DC Universe Classics Raven as a base figure with her hair coming from a Toy Biz 5 inch Magik figure. Her base and the psionic butterfly on her face are made from hot glue and painted pearl pink.

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
