The nu Fifty-Redux by 4:F 36x48 acrylic & marker on canvas.

My largest canvas piece to date. This is a recreation of the second piece that I painted back in June of 2013. That piece, Princess Diana was 24x36 and used her Justice League Unlimited colors. Since I was redoing it I decided not to make it look the same and used her nu 52 color scheme. Princess Diana took 30 hours to complete and was sold at Art All Night Trenton. This recreation took 6 hours, for perspective the Spooner Street mural has 23 hours in to it, is nearly completed and measures 6ft by 12ft. I wanted to do this image again for a couple of reasons. Primarily because I finished the original the night before the exhibit and didn't get adequate time to appreciate it before it sold. Don't get me wrong I was very excited to sell it but there was definitely some separation ANXIETY!!! (I don't call it a hoard lightly folks) Secondly, I wanted to evaluate my progress after doing 100 pieces by doing something from my early work. I'm excited, it's a milestone. I've sold 35 out of the 100 which is encouraging. Thank you all for your support. Here's to another 100!
