A Custom A Day.... 365 days of custom figures Day 98 - Batman The Brave & The Bold Catwoman by 4:F4/9/2015 Once I knew Deane was using the Catwoman figure from The Batman series as the base for the Brave & the Bold females, I knew I was going to be able to add the Brave & the Bold versions of the Birds of Prey to my shelf. This is my haphazard attempt at Catwoman. Far more sculpting than I am comfortable with was necessary to make this one happen and I'm not 100% happy with how she turned out. I love the oddly posed hand on these figures. It makes them look like they are doing the choreography from the Birds of Prey number from the Matches Malone episode. I plan to have someone make the Huntress using the Selina Kyle version of the Batman Catwoman but I haven't decided which customizer would be best suited to take it on yet. Eventually....

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
