Today is Psyguy's Captain Caveman. When I saw the DC Comics Star Sapphire Minimate I thought that her collar and hair would make for a perfect base for Taffy from the Teen Angels. Given the quality that Psyguy provided with the Josie Gang and the Speed Buggy Gang after them, I knew he'd hit the Teen Angels out of the park. I sent him a Ghostbusters Slimer as a base for Captain Caveman with no real expectations as to how he would turn out as long as he nailed the girls' likenesses, which he did but then I saw Captain Caveman!!!! He was perfect. Psyguy has a gift for smooth paint jobs, superb decal applications and flawless paint jobs. He's done a fantastic job team after team with both human and animal characters alike.

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
