I love Scooby Doo. It was my first favorite cartoon growing up. I was disappointed when they eventually phased out Fred, Daphne & Velma in favor of Scrappy Doo. I didn't hate Scrappy like most did but I loved the original gang and wanted them back. Hanna Barbera eventually brought back Daphne who was my favorite so I was happy. Hanna Barbera attempted to update the theme of the show to capitalize on the success of Michael Jackson's Thriller. If you watch the opening of The 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo you see the monsters dancing like they did in the Thriller video. This series was short lived, 13 episodes and only one season. They decided to revamp the crew with an 80's look and added a little Latin looking character called Flim Flam Who looked a lot like my little brother. Wanting to have a complete roster of Scooby through the ages, I had my pal Flipmode craft a Flim Flam from Fimo. Say that five times fast! What he's created is the perfect rendition of the character. He is articulated at the neck and is in scale as my four inch Scooby collection. Now I just need a Vincent Van Ghoul to finish the team. I love this little guy!

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
