Riot. The only unfinished custom that I will be sharing as part of this project. I had this grand idea that I was going to learn how to root doll hair. I had a spare Rio doll laying around and knew that any Riot custom would use him as a base so when I ordered Rapture From Jemgirl, I requested that she also make me a Riot costume. I was going to handle the hair myself. This skill was going to put me on track to make custom dolls of my own for my collection and possibly for sale. Then I went to the wig shop. And another. And another. I figured the hair would be easy to find. Silly me. I STILL haven't come across suitable hair to finish the project so Riot sits on my self looking crazy. Eventually we'll get there. I should mention that the quality presented by Jemgirl is superb. She included microphones and guitars with the order. Great bonus

A Custom A Day....
Since
I began toy collecting as a hobby back in 1990 I have always had a
need for custom figures. Toy companies begin action figure lines, begin
to release individual characters to create teams and, more often than
not leave them incomplete. Many collectors find that custom figures
pollute their collection's authenticity by not being mass produced
creations from the toy companies that created the preexisting toy lines.
I disagree. I feel a quality custom action figure enhances a
collection and help create a complete picture. Archives
